In my personal opinion, the Sony MDR-1000x has very very very good sound quality. I thought about the Bose QC35. But it seems that I like the 1000x more because it fits my need. (spent a lot of time trying and comparing it on the shop haha)

But when I researched more about the 1000x, I found these below, i think this is a deal breaker. really really deal breaker. bangwall.gif

From Sony Forum:
https://community.sony.com/t5/Headphones/So...ays/td-p/613977

From Other Forum:
https://www.mobile01.com/topicdetail.php?f=180&t=5047406&p=1

Some say that this is a design problem, the force/pressure distribution is not properly handled causing things above.
In the link mentioned that it'll be more likely happened to those who have bigger head (like me)

Anyone faced/facing this issue? can we claim warranty (in Malaysia) if this happened?

reported in this link is 70 people total?

I owned MRD-1000X for 2 weeks now. I don't think that is a major issue coz just a fraction/small amount of customers has complain over this issue for pass few months. I'm sure Sony has sold multiple thousand if not million of units world wide.

hmm when i look at it, i can see the flaw. i really love it at the first sight and the sound. the NC is just a bonus for me. I'm currently asking my friend from Sony Pinang for this. still no respond yet though.

Well, hoards of excellent review on the 1000x couldn't convince you then nothing will. Please remember you're looking at a wireless headphone with noise cancellation. It's a category in itself. Dont buy it expecting similar SQ like the wired version. And as for quality, there's bound to be lemons. New cars have problems too. So, you decide.

Hmm... buying a NC headphone without using it NC function?

You better off buying a better headphone without NC function with that money.

If your priority is in that order, try looking at the Sennheiser PXC 550, much better sound quality.
