The phone only works on 3g.

Try set 3g only to see if it your phone problem.
If it works with 3g only then thats another problem.

once you try to make calls, it will connect to 3G, all your internet speed data will also be on 3g, everything slows down, while you're making voicecall... not a good choice

which modal modem u brought yea... both of us facing same issue lol..

i plug phone into the modem. it shown me line in use. cant make call or receive call.

Yes, though mine has LTE-A, it seems my 1800MHz is faster than it.
Because 61a variant doesn't support LTE-A bands for Malaysia and it's cheaper.

My DiGi infinite 150 plan just approved yesterday and I'm using Huawei E5172 Call + Internet.

But I'm not sure my device is support LTE-A or not.
Can anyone confirmed my stuff?

guys e5186 with or without antenna got much difference or not in term of dl speed, currently using my phone always full bar 4g

anybody has issues with Digi in KL? my internet suddenly died and now it won't connect to LTE. I have to manually connect to a HSDPA network to get data

I'm using e398 too, and partner with 3420 v2 with latest ROOTer firmware. Dl speed can only reach 400K/s without antenna but can get 1.3M/s with antenna although the line is congested. Have to play around with the antenna which take me a lot of time to get the right spot. 

Anyway E5186 only support B3+B7, B3+B20, B7+B20 and intra B3 or intra B7

yup, this should be future proof but i remember i found somewhere that B525 is less powerful than E5186 and with only one RJ11 port, it's optimized model as compared to E5186
Hopefully in the future they got upgrade firmware for E5186 to support B3+B8 or B8+B20 as E5186 support B8 as well.

Less DLNA, fax, USB sharing services (i think the USB port on B525 is for firmware flashing purpose cos nothing mentioned about USB printer etc in the datasheet)

but anyway there must be a reason for this new model B525 is almost same price as compare to 2 years old model E5186, it's something like P10 and P10  Lite, although it is not too lite but they took away some functionality in E5186 which not much people are using.
