Did Digi just pay me the GST ? Did you guy bill look like this too?
It should RM140.32 + 9.58. But instead of add it, Digi minus it.

since you already paid for on top of the RM300 signup, you shouldn't be paying it again when all DiGi did was slash from the GST-paid upfront payment.

Wondering if VPN can bypass the speed limit ? What if using a 4G router enable wifi, consider as hotspot as well ?
*
enlighten me....

if speed limit of a car is 110km/h per hour on the highway....

what makes you think a car on a carrier truck can go any faster?

------------

vpn encapsulates your traffic. so instead of just your packet, now it becomes your vpn packet.

but to the network, it is still a packet none the less.

and as a packet, it is still subject to the rule of the "road".

Question:

Huawei e5377s-32.

There are 2 external ports. I believe it's CRC9.

However, I'm confused whether the external ports are for WiFi or for LTE.

Kindly advise if there are type of antenna that can be good for DiGi.

nice..i got same antenna too... once put external antenna..speed drop lol  sweat.gif

that looks like directional antenna.

it needs to face the tower properly if direct line of sight.

if got obstruction in-between, then you just have to find the correct angle for the scatter and bounce and reflection to and from the tower.

Guys, I just got this MIMO Antenna which everyone been using but now after using the antenna, I get not good results, the speed has degraded than using without Antenna.

I'm using Huawei E5186-22a

if omni directional antenna, have to find good place exposed to nearby tower's transmission.

if directional antenna, another condition is it needs to face line-of-sight to the tower, or receive bouncing and reflecting transmission from the same.

Found a ZTE MF93D from yesteryears.

Just nice, I also mistakenly bought 2 LTE TS9 antennas last week.

Before external antennas, got around 11MB/s download.

After install external antennas, so far, getting up to 40MB/s.

P/S: did you realise there is a cat hiding behind the SpeedTest's dial? drag down to reveal.

Lol u tot each antenna only provide 1 connector ha? haha
What cat?  cat 404 hmm.gif

I bought omni antenna. of course only 1 connector per antenna.

now waiting for the correct crc9 version to arrive for my e5377s-32.

the maxis mf93d is really a treasure accidentally rediscovered. just when I am banging my head on what to do with the mistakenly purchased ts9. I myself have forgotten about it for the past 3 years. and it only lost 25% of its battery charge since then. tests away!

now that I know it works, plugging in for all https://www.lelong.com.my/extra-gain-12-dbi...7-01-Sale-I.htm

drag down the dial in the middle of the speedtest screen. the cat will be there.

caveat: I paid to remove ads, so there is possibility it's for paid version....

It is available on app, but not on website

Dont forget to swipe down again and again

yes.

I couldn't screen cap since samsung requires swiping horizontally while I need to swipe the cat down. incompatible move.

so zte mf93d qualcom vs huawei e5377s-32 hisilicon which one is better ?
*
i'm waiting for the crc9 version of same antenna to arrive arrived.

the documentation out there is fuzzy; stated this huawei model is using ts9. i got duped by that. that's why bought wrong version but luckily now i found this older mf93d which uses ts9.

this huawei e5377s-32 is using crc9.

huawei locked to LTE-only. before external antenna and after. this is queensbay mall area, so I guess it's congested and not full potential. later tonight i'll test at home side by side with mf32d.

hi there cicak.fakir, mind telling your exact location? i'm going to move into Mawar Apartment & considering signing up Inifinite 150. is the speed very poor? YouTube lagging? hope you can share. thanks in advance.
*
PM-ed.

i bought digi best prepaid first, then add-on 1-month video streaming. enjoyed netflix and iflix and youtube like no tomorrow. satisfied. that's why i converted to 150 and then terminated celcom's first gold.

even better than celcom. when i cast to chrome, it took less than 15secs to start the show without hiccups in middle.

if using celcom, it will take 2 minutes to buffer at start, then it will stall again after first 30 secs; consider lucky if not locked up altogether. after that usually it will be like an hour later will buffer again.

-------------------

i would suggest buy prepaid now, test it out first. no need for long. it's almost weekend, you can try at different hours and it will still be realistic.

it's almost 24th deadline to signup 150, if not extended.

Guys,

my friend change his Digi prepaid to i150.. He's succesfully bought it online.. since he's already have the prepaid sim, just activate it right?
*
i converted from digi best prepaid to infinite 150 WITHOUT ASKING FOR REPLACEMENT SIM @ 8pm.

since it didn,t mentoned explicitly what is to be expected after payment and issue of receipt, i called them up to confirm that it's done.

confirmed just need to wait for few days for digi backoffice.

but eventually it got activated around the same midnight.

A quick question..

I'm on infinite 150... currently using K5005 (E398) modem + MR3420 router..

If there's 4G LTE-A coverage on my area (as shown in Digi website)... Does the modem perform optimally... or other modem will provide better speed?
Currently getting max 35Mbps with and average of 2MBps..
No antenna or accesories added...
*
it's 3-lanes each way on the PLUS highway between Juru and Hutan Kampung. yet, no matter how optimal your vehicle condition is, you cannot escape from the jammed traffic from time to time.

Why envy people usef 1TB. Dont think all users using 1TB per month. Lolz

there's nothing to be 3nvious. but instead, we are suspicious. exasperated. aghast. worried.

I use netflix a lot. 8hrs a day. you know how much I chalked up? 159GB in first 15 days.

as much as I would like DiGi to be really unlimited, those illogical home usage will need to be reined in for the rest of the users.

probably DiGi will need to requests those using 1TB to justify their usage, penalise only these found unsatisfactory, and not punish the rest of home users.
