Ordered at 12:42 AM & got it 40 minutes later at around 1:20 AM. This is from an existing DiGi PrePaid number to Infinite 150. No new SIM needed.

People only took few minutes to maximum one day... It's not even a postpaid to Infinite plan, shouldn't have any complications. Try complaining to Digi CS and Digi Community Forum.
*
Digi CS:

plan approval done manually during working days/hours (I responded back by saying, why got ppl submit request night time/midnight, still less than an hour done? - CS replied back, they have team working round the clock)

If really round the clock, mine now already more than 48 hours...

After I pushed further, the live chat ended due to "connection error".. However, I was still browsing the net when that happened..

One CS said one thing, the other said another..

Suggest you report in Digi Community Forum, they have real Digizens answering in that forum.

Just posted there. By the way, do you know anyone who managed to get their upgrade at most a day during weekends? So that I can add that to my reasons in upcoming post there

I'm not sure, you gotta search in this thread or wait for others to reply you.

Decided to try my luck by again calling Digi CS. This person "promised" that I will be on Infinite 150 within 24 hours. He also admitted that most people get it done within hours. Lets see

haih... raya time, not full strength. and weekend. and midnight usually running with skeleton crew mostly for monitoring. if there is "fire" happening, they'll need to devote time to answer on that first. plan switching isn't really a priority in the grand scheme of moonlit crew. just because everyone got it lucky within 1-2hrs, does not mean it's the norm. even when you applied, it already mention minimum 4 "working days" to process, not "days".
*
I do understand your points. But let me present you with another details. My friends (one upgraded on Friday noon lunch time, the other in the evening) both got their new Infinite150 within 1 / 2 hours. I made the upgrade (without new sim delivery) a day earlier, but that number still stuck on prepaid until now. Plus, my Order Status under My Digi - Store and Orders has been updated to Completed before 4PM Thursday (i applied at 2.19PM Thursday and the Order Status was In Progress at first).

So,

1) My friends' application "overtook" mine (is it the norm? Last In, First Out)

2) DiGi updated the status to Completed when the plan upgrade is still In Progress (otherwise I could have used it immediately)

Now you'll understand my arguement I guess
