Then after that, you can to try to experiment between B3, B7 or B3+B7 (LTE-A). See which one is fastest. At my place, and I think some other people on this forum as well, B3 is faster and more stable, so I just lock my router to B3. 

Download Toolbox and can choose preferred bands. I think you can search from this topic.

Hey guys, im new in 5186S-22a. Got one noob question, what is the purpose to select API control setting in 5186s toolbox ? I had tried select api/dhcp/settings, but it show error.

Meaning ur current placement of the antenna is not correct. Once u found the perfect spot, u will see the differences. If u didn't place it correctly it will only become worse than ur internal antenna..

Check open signal, or cell tower app in play store..

how much u buy that modem and where...

if omni directional antenna, have to find good place exposed to nearby tower's transmission.

if directional antenna, another condition is it needs to face line-of-sight to the tower, or receive bouncing and reflecting transmission from the same.
