Can reach 100mbps early in the morning!

I'm using e398 too, and partner with 3420 v2 with latest ROOTer firmware. Dl speed can only reach 400K/s without antenna but can get 1.3M/s with antenna although the line is congested. Have to play around with the antenna which take me a lot of time to get the right spot.

Just digi din enable it, perhaps not many phone support B8 CA...or after every site has deployed B8 LTE as currently B8 is too congest??

yes, u can try 3CA on Singtel, but not in Malaysia yet

Then probably just setting issue on digi side.

Anyway E5186 only support B3+B7, B3+B20, B7+B20 and intra B3 or intra B7

u need to match the frequency as well, now digi B8 only 5MHz while B3 and B7 must use 20MHz to CA

huawei b525 can CA band 3 and band 8

yup, this should be future proof but i remember i found somewhere that B525 is less powerful than E5186 and with only one RJ11 port, it's optimized model as compared to E5186
Hopefully in the future they got upgrade firmware for E5186 to support B3+B8 or B8+B20 as E5186 support B8 as well.

Less DLNA, fax, USB sharing services (i think the USB port on B525 is for firmware flashing purpose cos nothing mentioned about USB printer etc in the datasheet)

hmm, I think in this case might be worth it to invest RM70 or so to get a better quality overall, I'm getting on average 10mbps only, not quite satisfied with the speed because I know some corner in the house there's one spot that can get me 20mbps, but that tower is super hard to lock onto, the rest of the tower around my area are pretty congested it seems

probably we all are back from back then and used the green camp plan before it went crazy and off the rail.

where do you found the info about less power compare to e5186?

I terminated my Unifi 30 today.

No such issue on mine. Maybe only you have isolated problem.

i forgot where i saw it already and unable to google back...
but anyway there must be a reason for this new model B525 is almost same price as compare to 2 years old model E5186, it's something like P10 and P10 Lite, although it is not too lite but they took away some functionality in E5186 which not much people are using.

Hi, anyone using B310 here can comment if the Huawei toolbox can be used on this modem?

Want to consider either B310 or B315 now... I don't mind with only one LAN port as the price cheaper a lot from Taobao. And I saw someone commented that B310 doesn't support 900Mhz, anyone can confirm on this? Think from Taobao website it mentioned B310s-22 does support 900Mhz FDD LTE.
