I also use the same model. More specifically E5172s-515 which only supports LTE band 2, 5 and 7. Maxis/Celcom/Digi have LTE on band 3 and 7 (correct me if I'm wrong). Webe uses band 5.

And yup digi on this router sucks. Maximum speed would be 3-4 mbps, but it's very unstable. Frequent disconnection. And usually at night, like less than 1mbps. It's not a problem with digi line as when I try putting the sim in my phone which supports both band 3 and 7, the speed is consistently between 10mbps to 20mbps, not the fastest but still pretty decent.

I guess in some areas, digi LTE using band 7 is quite bad. I can't wait for my E5176s-22a to arrive. The weird thing is celcom sim in my E5162 router is very fast. Like at least 15mbps.

My one is E5172s-22. From description can support band 1/3/7/8/20/38. Speed actually better then my phone, the only problem is sudden speed drop. But my phone also having a same problem here. So its not about my modem, more on signal i think.

Running this stats on my 19th floor Digi

RSRP -91
RSSI - 67
RSRQ -10
SINR 3

Getting about 10Mbps at night and 12-13Mbps in the morning.
Pings are about 30-40ms.

This is with the '88dbi' antenna. Without it, the speeds at night are shitty.

Not the best cell tower due to congestion, but the best streamyx I can get is 4Mbps. This is way better.

CA is slower due to slow B7. My B3 itself beats both CA and B7 only hands down.

Weird. hmm.gif

CA should use both B3 and B7. Let me experiment further when my E5186 is with me.

Wow, that's something I didn't consider. Test on B3.
Now I am getting 14Mbps against 12Mbps with CA.

Though..if I only need single band...waste money to buy E5186 sweat.gif
