Becoz you didn't wait for at least a day after you sold all 700 units at 8.010 today and then you proceeded to buy *new* 400 units at 7.880.

Hence the avg acquisition price take into account today's entry price as well.

By using IBKR-LITE, the Client will be charged zero commission for National Market System (NMS) stock orders (subject to

Makers’’) for handling [Commissions | Interactive Brokers LLC]. IBKR’s agreements with the Market Makers provide IBKR payment
