Under that limit order is an order to buy or sell a share at a specific price or better. A BUY order will be executed at the limit price or lower while the sell order will be executed at the limit price or higher.

I was just wondering under what scenario where sell order will be executed at the limit price or higher as when a person put a sell order, definitely he will put a price higher than the current market price right, hence impossible that the person's sell order will be executed at a price higher than the limit set by the person?
