Wait, what just happened? Yesterday I sold all my shares in company (bought at 1.5) and it says I earned 400+. Then I rebuy later in the evening @ 1.57.

Now my portfolio says my realised profit is 260+, but my average share purchase price is 1.522, but with "profit" of 117? What the hell???

Anyone knows why is there high price in buying and low price in selling but never match?

Still some people downplay the system. Sometimes during pre-close you see the price jump down more than 5 steps market depth.

THe mechanism is to prevent people manipulate but I think still sometimes it's manipulated. Price go down many steps at closing.

I regularly exploit it on the SGX at the opening or closing auctions to jump the queue. It's probably applicable to any market that has opening or closing auctions.

Yes Rakuten averaged out the acquisition price

But calculations goes wrong when you do intraday. Even you have completely sold the stocks prior to repurchase, they still use your earlier acquisition price to average out

As it is under nominee acc, you have to contact Rakuten on processing this

I noticed that RT can buy Malaysia ETF.

May I know does the costs involve are brokerage fee, clearing fee and sst? Will RT also deduct the management fee, trustee fee and index licence fee?

Do we have to tell rakuten trade if the company shares we hold have bonus shares or will rakuten automatically give us the bonus shares at ex-date?

Suffering loss (when its supposed to be profit) as the shares went ex-bonus date  on 3/8 and I don't see my number of shares increasing

Bonus should be auto. What counter is this?
