Hi, I am new to Rakuten Trade and share investment.

I bought some shares under contra account this morning. Do I need to pick up shares if I have enough money in my contra account for my purchase? I can see my shares under "Outstanding" tab but there is no pick up button.

May I confirm whether my understanding on RT contra account is correct?

I saw the FnQ mentioned that cash is 100% collateral in contra account, is it mean that we can place order using just enough cash, rather than we need to have 30% buffer using cash account?

Once the order using contra account has been matched, then we need to do some setting to top up the cash that being collaterised in contra account within 2 days, otherwise RT will sell the stock.

Is it compulsory to use multiplier in contra account? It allows unit holder to buy more stock if currently they do not have sufficient money, just top up the money within 2 days. The multiplier is based on the allowable multiplier value stated in the respective stock. The amount that the unit holder can place order using multiplier is based on the cash value already in the contra account and the allowable multiplier value.

How to pickup purchased stock on contra account?

have 5000 lot share queuing for sell at 0.01, then this morning it shoot up to 0.02, now it's 0.03

thanks to rakuten shitty server, i can't go in in time to adjust my selling price

Guys, is there something wrong with Rakuten?

I bought careplus and my average price was RM5.11 just now . I did the calculation and average price was indeed 5.11

Suddenly its showing my average price now is RM5.32.

Wonder What they upgrade system? Install screen protector ?

Anyone knows why when I key in 12 lots rakuten reject my sell? Seems like 1 to 10 is fine, but numbers like 11, 13, 14,etc.. Gets rejected

New to Contra Trading.
I've purchased a stock on Tues, and sold it today. Is there something that I still need to do ? Both BUY & SELL lines of the stock still appearing in the Pick Up page (with BUY / SELL option). Do I need I click BUY and SELL for each line or it will contra off each other ?

I managed to figure out that the average price of 1.23 is from the nett amount after adding brokerage fee, stamp duty, clearing fee and SST.

Previously, I used Kenanga I do not face such issue. I can calculate all transactions manually and accurately. Using Rakuten is very unpredictable. It is because of Kenanga's high brokerage fee, I opted for a different securities firm.

want to ask abut the contra account and the rebate it means:

if i pump in 5k in contra account. use top glove as example.
1. contra allow be to trade up to 5 times my limit (if i understand correctly), means i can buy up to rm25k of share

2. so i can buy 3000 unit top glove share (consider is rm8.00), total spend will be rm24k + rm9 +sst etc. ( am i correct?

3. right in the afternoon top glove up to rm8.30, i sell all. and i learn the balance.

what rebate i will get? the 1 time rm9 brokerage fees?

u can prepare to apply for other brokers and opt out

I sold some shares on Friday 27th Nov, up todate the cash history not yet updated ?  How long to wait to be reflected in my account ?

Anyone knows how to disable the session time out thing? So annoying have to log in every time

ok, just now RT email and say have to provide bank statement. But in the link itself no button to submit 🤣 so have to email them back.. did it  & now waiting, hope all good for account creation
