Have a feeling when US market is easily accessible, retailers would dump bursa and move there.

Anyone using Rakuten on Chrome experienced anything like this?

» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «

Much more bearable using Dark Reader extension, but still some features like the GTD, I can't even select the dates...it just goes through and closes it.

» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «

Its ok on other browsers though, only Chrome hmm.gif

Hi,

How do we find out our grand total whether we are profiting or losing?
the realized profit/loss does not include dividends right?

so it will be :
(trading limit + total share value in hand + dividends) - (realized loss/gain) = grand total?

Hi Guys,

I am facing partial match problem from Rakuten. I am buying a very small quantity eg: 50 ~ 100 units of stock and Rakuten always purchase 1 unit with partial matching and charge me RM7+ for the brokerage fee, the remaining 99 units are pending.

I have faced this partial matching of purchasing 1 unit twice. It is very frustrating they keep charging me brokerage fee for this.

Why is this?

You buying odd lot? If you buy board lot should not be a problem. I take it when you say 50-100 unit you referring to 0.5 to 1 lot??

I have some question regard to raku margin

1. the outstanding financed will automatically settle by using cash in equity? Under the column of equity, it shows unpaid shares.

2. Will it automatically act as pledged share if I buy through cash upfront account and grant me a trading limit as pledged share in raku margin

Okay okay, I know it now, I should go for board lot instead of odd lot.

The difference is that 99% of the market is trading on board lot. Odd lots are rare. Your chances of getting partially matched when buying Odd lots are much higher. You can almost only buy/sell what's at the queue unless someone let it go to you. If you don't care about buy/sell price, you can use market order to buy at whatever price share available then you won't get partial match issue.

In example, a share issued free units as dividend to share holder let say 7 units for every 1 lot (100 units). If shareholders get this 7 unit, either they just keep it or they sell it as Odd Lot. Hence why the number of odd units selling in the market is much lower as 99% of shareholders are holding whole numbers lot size of 100 units each. So if I got that 7 units, I can only sell look at the Odd Lot queue and see what price the sellers are selling at. If you monitor, you will see Odd lot queues jump much slower as the number of traders selling/buying odd lot are much lower.

If you sell/buy at Board Lot, chances are you get matched pretty quickly.
