QUOTE(papyrous @ May 19 2017, 08:31 PM) I went to TM batu lintang and ask, counter say at the moment only available for few selected areas. TMPoint Pending also mentioned that many application being rejected. Apparently they only want to target for very few selected location at the moment.mainly let 384k, 512k, 1m and 2m. streamyx 4m and 8m price too close to unifi lite they dont let me change to unifi. |

QUOTE(westlife @ May 21 2017, 01:20 PM) I call 100 to check my billing matters. Then I asked them if I can downgrade to the unifi lite. The product department told me this is only for new customer woh. Serious? Probably the CS doesn't keep up to date. Better ask at tmPoint or terminate Unifi and apply Unifi lite under your father's name. This is different from what the TM online chat told me. Never mind later I am going to TM point to transfer ownership of the unifi to my Father so that my parent house's home line can get rm26 monthly subscription waived and just pay rm1 monthly. I will ask them also. QUOTE(kevyeoh @ May 21 2017, 01:29 PM) hi...can you explain a bit more on the getting the RM26 monthly subscription waived? how come need to transfer to father for unifi? Because his phone under father's name, unifi under his name. thanks! |

QUOTE(westlife @ May 21 2017, 05:07 PM) Yes, I am the one who shared this info of the rm200 downgrade in the earlier post. How much do you pay for existing one? if RM179, can consider apply Unifi lite 129 and then terminate. RM50 for 10 month is equal to Rm500.But now TM point and 100 said cannot downgrade. Only option now obviously is to apply a new unifi lite which means only then terminate the existing one. But like I said termination needs rm500 and not rm200 so the decision is not straightforward now. |

QUOTE(westlife @ May 21 2017, 06:39 PM) Rm179. Yes, after 10 months can start saving. Don't terminate first. Just apply new unifi lite and try go into their waiting list for port availability. In the event it is successful and installed, only you go and terminate the current unifi. But Problem is my parent house has no more unifi port. If terminate now, can of guarantee that there will be port. QUOTE(monkeybeh @ May 21 2017, 07:04 PM) Wow TM is much smarter than I thought, They are already smart since day 1. Who else can conquer the whole nation fix broadband in bolehland if not TM.Pull out many tricks to prevent downgrade shitstorm already * for new customers only * cannot downgrade * cannot 129 * accept migrate from certain low streamyx package only CCB, insecure as f*** This post has been edited by YoungMan: May 21 2017, 07:40 PM |

TM should have set a standard that all charges are charge in the bill, not paid directly to the installer. That way the installer will claim the charges from TM for each successful installation, and it would be easy to monitor.

QUOTE(joeroxworld @ May 29 2017, 10:38 PM) They just upgrade my area from Streamyx to Unifi. Regardless, if you take unifi advance/pro, hypptv and landline is included. Even for Unifi lite, TM bundle together hypptv everywhere for you.So i guess they were pushing for Unifi Advanced instead. Well, not all need Hypptv and land line right ? |

QUOTE(JohnLai @ May 31 2017, 04:07 PM) >.< Now I am very worried about upcoming quota system by TM. This is to be expected already. Remember the streamyx lite 1mb with only 1gb quota? Insider info = turn out even STREAMYX also will be hit by quota system. When they boast that the internet speed will double at half the price in 2 years time, deep in their planning is the quota system. |
