You will be still given a fixed line number. But calls are chargeable if you dont take the minutes package. For mine, I dont even connect a phone to it because I already have a land line.
All condos will have fibre connected to its main hub inside the building but your connection from your unit to the hub will be through copper. That is what the installer explained to me.

Sometimes I received calls from TM offer me for upgrade and told me I can only get 30mbps based on my address in their system. I think should be using VDSL only, but agents / sales team outside when I talked during roadshow / booth bullsh*ting me can have more than that speed and with fiber to home
