- Inside STB is there any Google Playstore or does it actually accessing the Hypptv webpage to download HyppEverywhere? How to install?

The monthly hypptv subscriptions fee add-on rm30/monthly is it include GST?
So is it meaning that if I subscribe Unifi Lite + hypptv subscriptions is RM129 (without voice call) + RM30 (hypptv)??

Let's me explain pricing for UniFi Lite

First, you need to understand that any UniFi package must be bundled with at least 1 HyppTV Pack worth RM30 except if it is bundled with WeBe.

UniFi Lite base price = RM 99
1 HyppTV Pack =  RM30
1 Voice STD 20 Call Plan = RM20
1 Webe Call Plan = RM79

The minimum combo is

1.UniFi Lite + 1 HyppTV Pack = RM99 + RM30 = RM129

Another combo can be

2.UniFi Lite + 1 HyppTV Pack + 1 Voice STD 20 Call Plan = RM 99 + RM 30 + RM 20 = RM149

3.UniFi Lite + 1 Webe = RM 99 + RM 79  = RM 178

Normally TM will give RM20-RM30 discounts for each promo based on past promotion.

There are no such things as

1.UniFi Lite without HyppTV Pack
2.UniFi Lite without HyppTV Pack with call plan
3.UniFi Lite without HyppTV Pack with free call plan

I need some advice from some of the experts here about Unifi installation.

Yesterday installer came to my house to install unifi lite but he wanted to charge me RM200 for overhead ceiling wiring. He said if you don't want to pay I have to drill holes in your wall but if you pay me, I won't drill holes in your wall & install the wiring nicely for you.

Is that guy bullshitting me or what? If he drill holes I don't have to pay but if he does the easier work that doesn't involve any drilling I have to pay him. Is the guy trying to cheat me or what?

Fortunately for me, before he could do anything he found that the ports were full in my area. So he couldn't do anything & I didn't have to pay him a cent.

So is the installer trying to cheat me? Please advise me before I lodge a complaint with TM about this installer.

Actually, the RM30 HyppTV pack is the same offered to others UniFi plan, the only difference is that you don't get the STB with UniFi Lite.

If you want the STB, you need to go for UniFi 30.No such thing getting STB from UniFi Lite 10 except if you are from VIP package.

got my unifi lite installed. was surprised that the stock router that they provided for Lite was the DIR-850L.

speed is considered decent for the Net speed. i'm on VDSL connection, thus getting around 8mbps DL and 4.2mbps UL

Do u mean that even we have HypPTV Everywhere login username and password, it wont be able to login using the STB hardware itself? Was thinking to get one from my friend who no longer using it.

my parent's house on copper VDSL, DL speed is avg 11mbps & UL is 5.5mbps

For area without fiber optics, is it possible request to subscribe UniFi Lite using VDSL infrastructure? Since copper line (Streamyx) is actually capable to obtain 10Mbps+, can one subscribe UniFi Lite package while using Streamyx infrastructure as long as achieve 10Mbps+/- speed and 5Mbps upload speed.

tm installer said to me the everywhere ID can be use with any 2 device (including setop box) , so can buy the used or underground setop box then

most highrise have both unifi (VDSL) and streamyx.

2 points why i keeps my streamyx previously and change to unifi lite, first is price, second is the max speed 30 mbps (which means i dont get the fxxking free upgrade)

they got mobile sim and data sim . data sim quota can hotspot, no call/sms function. mobile sim unlimited everything, but no hotspot.

shhhhhhh rumor said mobile plan getting 10gb LTE hotspot.

speed for me not fastest, around 2-3mbps. coverage ok la.

4g wise,webe better than umobile 4g <-- really cannot use.

Luckily I don't use home line so no worried there. I was hopping d home line can be terminated to save a few bucks

need to revoke the mac address, i've chat with mytm they said cannot use with everywhere ID.. but i assume if u can revoke the mac and rebind with new ID .. walla no problem.. need someone u know internally to do that.. hmm..
