Can you help me find more metal bands like these?

QUOTE(Frozen_Sun @ May 17 2017, 08:17 AM) Nice melodious guitar riffs and clean voice, without growl and excessive screaming Are you a huge fan of Maiden that you only look for those very similar to it? There are TONS of great melodic metal bands with amazing guitar riffs and clean powerful vocals out there, the world is your oyster my friend. One way or another, any melodic metal bands after the 80s have some influence from the mighty Maiden, just that they choose to be more creative and find their own unique styles and sounds. If you really like melodic metal, try search these bands, they might not necessarily sound that close to Maiden but they're all BLOODY AWESOME!I have only found one that's almost identical, Storm Warrior. This is a sample of their song Can you help me find more metal bands like these? Kamelot Symphony X Evergrey DGM Vanden Plas Primal Fear Pagan's Mind Nightwish Myrath Pyramaze Orden Ogan Borealis Teramaze Vision Divine Serenity Black Fate/Sunburst Psycrence Waken Eyes and many2 more. Iron Maiden is part of the subgenre of metal called the 'New Wave of British Heavy Metal'. Judas Priest is also included in this group.
From Iron Maiden arose other subgenres including Power Metal. Some of the other bands that are included above are in fact symphonic metal. You should also listen to DIO, who has some of the best vocals in heavy metal. Dio is a classic (and credited to have 'invented' the rock 'devil horns' hand sign). |

QUOTE(Erza Scarlet @ Nov 13 2018, 02:25 AM) This sounds more like post-1991 Metallica ...QUOTE(qhyrul @ Nov 16 2018, 10:33 AM) Power metal songs often have nice, melodious riffs, like this one...but, this has growling vocal. I've done some research since then. The little known Russian band seems to closely follow Iron Maiden formula. This feels like in the same category of Iron Maiden's Aces High song...with catchy riff and about air warfare One more.....
