I saw their ad in the Star on Saturday, RM150-200k annual starting salary if you have an MBA from a top university. Not great money but not bad to start out with either...
*
Well, for sure its not possible to get into that as a person's first job, so it cant be the starting salary. Why? Because no reputable university will admit somebody without working experience into a MBA course.

Give shares, dream on. Give share options, depends on the company lar.. But keep in mind the difference between giving shares and giving share options.

There are companies who give shares outright, some who sell it at discounted rates and others which give options. It also depends on what level you're joining obviously.

hehe, well, of course there's those who gives out shares outright, but those positions r the very senior positions, basically those in a position to influence their revenue in a major way.

If you're to ask if its really like that, answer is, probably yes. But its hardly unique to just BAT lar. There's heaps of places with such problems. So mainly its to do with being able to handle that sort of environment.

a bit off topic here, but its for that exact reason why when large companies want to do something new, they just buy over another company rather than build something themselves. Because they know their own problems, and that a large organization can never out innovate a smaller company.
