Anyone knows where I can find some good Lowepro bags at a good price? I've checked out several shops which charge exorbitant prices. I went to Boeing in Sungai Wang and found that they don't have many bags. I'm looking for a shoulder strap bags which can fit a camera with the lens plus 2 extra lenses and an external flash. I've checked out Shashinki and found a bag I thought was nice, the Tamrac System 6 Pro bag. http://shashinki.com/shop/bag-strap-c-32.html

Im using Lowepro Slingshot 200AW, pretty decent bag & should fit your requirement. i like the way it can be carried like a back pack & be able to swing in front to access your camera & stuff. http://www.lowepro.com/Products/Sling_Bags...hot_200_AW.aspx

I choose practicality over brand and I found that Lowepro suits me due the shooting condition I am always in. Always buy a bag/backpack that is at least 'twice' as large as the capacity that can fit your current gear, reason being should you 'overgrow' your current gear you dun have to buy another bag and another bag and another bag to pack more and more stuff like lenses and body and occasionally some personal belongings.

If you intend to get from Singapore, you should get e-quote from the various shops, e.g. Cathay Photo, MS Color, Alan Photo, etc., before going there. Usually, you can get better price than walk-in. Don't forget to bring a copy of the e-quote email with you when you are there. Another thing to note is that sometimes, the price quoted may not have included the GST tax (although this GST could be claimed back, if you are going by flight, through Changi Airport). You could also check out YL Camera (Desmond) at 1st flr, Pudu Plaza. Saw some Lowepro bags in stock there.

Goto clubsnap.org and search for threads that keep track of Lowepro prices. If I'm not mistaken, Cathay is the only authorised dealer for this region that is listed on Lowepro's website. I think they offer one of the lowest prices in Singapore (and Malaysia). Try and get a Lowepro bag from Marina Square and you'll be charged at least 20-30% more expensive than what you can get it for from Cathay.
Prices for camera accessories, including lenses are a bit cheaper than Malaysia (from my homework) and 70% of the well-established shops are within walking distances of each other (Peninsular Plaza and Funan IT Mall).
Cathay is very well-established but their prices *might* not be the cheapest (aside probably for the Lowepro bags). However they don't act like most of Malaysia's bandit and conman photo shops. You can checkout Alan Photo and John 3:16 at Funan IT Mall if you have the time ^^
