we don't break the bank to buy players too but we do now

at his current age, he is obviously looking for a final bumper contract. not a wonder why he would ask for 400k from us. we won't sell him, he stays and he must
keep up his game to really justify a significant pay raise. if he flops, by the time he is free to sign for whoever he wants, those clubs can surely just go sign other
younger and better players instead of him. not to mention the looming world cup, he knows he needs to be playing and performing. he can't afford to go somewhere
that will not play him as much as he can here.
