Is it normal for the clear version of clear coat to be grainy? Just had one installed and I'm disappointed that it isn't as clear as the original Samsung SP

Did they apply matte for you?

Nah mine with clear coat looks clear to me

Final update on my Clear-Coat saga   Went to their kiosk and showed them my phone.  At first they couldn't see the problem so I showed them my iPad and old HTC M8.  They tried applying a new one but the same problem happened.

In the end I managed to get a partial refund (RM100 out of RM190)  90 ringgit gone plus the cost of the original SP they took off.  Oh well, lesson learned  Next time I'll be more wary of recommendations.

Every time I seen people struggling on such thing in every new phone every thread.

Lucky I don't use screen protector, clear coat, tempered glass and anything stick on the glass surface.

Why don't just use the phone peacefully. the screen really not that easier to scratch as long as you take care on it.

Accidentally dropped the phone today and cracked the the screen. Anyone having experience sending the phone for screen replacement? I bought it during pre order thus I supposed I just need to top up RM100 to get the screen replaced?

Dropped on concrete floor. Damn sad.

Just changed to Gboard from the stock Samsung keyboard. It's easily by far the better keyboard. Superb for bilingual user like me. It's like a Swiftkey but with better features and it's free.

IMO it's way better than Swype. Try it yourself maybe you'd find it to your liking as well.
Tried Fleksy but preferred conventional touch screen keyboard. More practical for my usage.
