Try replacing your simcard. Many times, its due to faulty / incompatible sim.

Mi Mix indeed looks cooler in hand, but it's not practical due to the size. Compared to S8, Mi Mix is uncomfortable to carry around. Put inside your pocket is definitely out of question. That's why Xiaomi defined it as concept phone.

Some times I do envy the girls. They put their phones into their handbags , so size doesn't matter at all. Me cannot. Everytime I changed my phone, I have to bring my short pant and long pant to the shop, do some testing and see if the new phone can fit into the pocket or not. LOL

I always put my phone inside my pant pocket when I go out. My hand will be tired if I keep holding it on hand when going outside. Plus it's not safe as well. So better keep inside the pocket when not using it.

i used to put in my front pocket for my 5s, now switch to back pocket as s8 is too long for my pants
