most petrol kiosk workers are not local or are usually older generation people (age lates 40s and above)
So they most probably didnt get any training from their bosses about this contactless payment system..
Even using normal credit/debit card contactless function they also sometimes not sure and very slow.. What more if you tell them you paying through your phone haha.
But retailers like shops, f&b and those in shopping malls should be fine.
