QUOTE(Velocity @ May 16 2017, 12:55 PM) Can feel a continuous wave of pain. Blur because I focus da bee not da wings. Immediately went for injection the nearest clinic is 15km. Not trying to troll you or what oo..It stick to my head I pull it out then I threw it. Then it still flying I whack it on the floor and step on it before it go for its 2nd attack. But from the picture..That looks like a hornet and not a bee la.. Also, bees/ hornets can only sting once...as they embed the sting into the victim..cannot attack 2nd time lo.. Anyway..get well soon ..its nasty to be stung. The picture looks great though.. |

QUOTE(tcmean @ May 13 2017, 05:44 PM) For those looking for non-tempered glass screen protector, here are 2 recommendations. I have bought several from different sellers at Taobao and find the 2 below most satified. They really stick well and front and back included. PET type: https://world.tmall.com/item/548308107819.h...id=548308107819 TPU type (rubbery feel like the clear coat): https://world.tmall.com/item/548487515046.h...id=548487515046 QUOTE(entity @ May 16 2017, 01:33 PM) Yup it definitely looks like something you'd get from matte screens. Mine is the clear version and it has this annoying colored noise (like what happens when you have oil on the screen). If you want really clear version always choose PET based protector. No matter how clear they claim the TPU base protector is, there is always sort of "noise" like you said. This is just the nature of the flexible material used. Can't say, I asked for front only and they said they only provide a full body coat (case friendly or not). No discounts, RM190 for mine. |

TPU with wet installation you can re-adjust how many times you like as long as still have the installation liquid and not dried up with hairdryer. PET have no self-healing properties, if you scratch it, it will remain visible no matter how fine or micro the scratch is. While TPU type often comes or claims to have self-healing properties where it can mask minor microscratches. EDIT: Oh and one more thing, the reason most S8 SP are TPU is because that flexible material allows it to be more adhesive on the curved edged screens of our phone. Hence TPU being more popular and recommended than PET. PET is great for flat screens, but for curved edges overtime it will lift up. This post has been edited by LordDenning: May 16 2017, 02:11 PM |

You can only compare with your own routine.Morning go to work. Use in office. Back home at how many percent. Rough estimation. If your old phone is 70% at 5pm. And your new phone is 10% at 5pm. Then obviously it is not better than your old phone. |

QUOTE(LordDenning @ May 16 2017, 02:09 PM) true, PET and TPU has its own pros and cons. I agree there are pros and cons to each material. Depends on what you want and what you can tolerate. If the screen clarity and smoothness of touch are important to you choose PET. If long term durability of the TPU sticking on your phone and its self-healing properties are important then opt for TPU. Best of all use it naked to enjoy the glass maximum user experienceexample, PET cannot re-install if you install it wrongly the first time, if you fukkup means you fukkup and gotta go get a new piece. QUOTE(entity @ May 16 2017, 01:29 PM) Thought I'd give you guys an update on my Clear-Coat problem. It's almost been 24 hours and the noise/grain on the film has yet to disappear. Mine was good too. Yours look different.[attachmentid=8819216] At least Mobile Outfitters have replied (after ignoring my msg last night lol). They said it should be clear and that it's never happened with any of their customers, so maybe I just have shit luck. Will have to make the journey to Penang again soon to get this replaced, but I'm not sure if that will solve any problems if the clear screens are supposed to be like this in the first place. If you want their phone no. We can give u. The previous order we are in a WhatsApp group we communicate from there |

Andrewtst reported previously that the wireless charger is not cut off and continuously charging the S8+ once the battery is full. If you are using wireless charger don't charge it overnight. Take it off once the battery is full. Wait for samsung to fix the software. |

My KASE casing arrived.
Loving it, its so thin almost like no casing at all. The only downside is no protection at all if dropped |
