Not common for me. As least never happened to my previous Samsung phones (S6, Note5, S7E & Note7), not even once.
It depends on luck I guess. There's a few cases on youtube. Samsung Samsung Galaxy S8/S8+ Discussion Thread V5, Infinity Display - Boundaries Removed

QUOTE(Max2006 @ May 16 2017, 11:28 AM) The ads won't pop up automatically on the phones. The only reason why there's ads pop up in your phone is because of some rogue apps you installed. The most efficient way to solve your problem is to check which apps causing the pop-up ads and uninstall them immediately. okay, will do that later. |

QUOTE(ceekay78 @ May 16 2017, 11:55 AM) so many pirated apps comparing to ori these days. There won't be any pirated apps if you only installed the apps from the Google Playstore. The pirated apps are those external apks that you sideloaded into your phone. Go and figure out which apps you were not downloading from Playstore. And then determine which of them are causing the trouble. How to differentiate pirated & ori apps? by charging app + foc app? |

How to differentiate pirated & ori apps? by charging app + foc app? Dun simply install any apps from others app market if u unsure. Google Play Store still slower than Apple App Store in term of app screening. |

That day I only helped my friend to remove a QR scanner app which downloaded from Google Play Store & hijacked his phone with device administrator rights & caused his phone cannot setup permission on other apps.Even Apple app store need to do screening on rogue apps published in the app store. |

Adhell | KNOX
pros : 1- free 2- no vpn annoying system notification. cons : 1- ads blocking not strong enough 2- still showing white blank ads handler in some site. 3- not blocking Youtube ads 4- slow config dns66 | VPN : now having problem with nougat & expect more flaws. see xda for more info. Adguard | VPN (sori i need to bias on this pros : 1- active dev support 2- strong ads detecttion & blocking 3- block in-video toutube ads 4- easy config & customization cons : 1- not free 2- annoying dns notification (due to samsung config. sony/huawei dn hv this, only small key icon) others are joke. for rooted, Adaway always the best. |

Oh I see. Looks like Playstore is not 100% safe afterall. Even Apple app store need to do screening on rogue apps published in the app store. |
