I can see that the shoplot downstairs actually quite big but i wonder why no convenience shop want to enter? like kk mart or 7-11? even dobi also don't have. Is it the rental too expensive? Or they already have those options nearby? Or the crowd there cannot support the biz yet? I am actually a bit confused.

i also noticed that. and also they are still building more shoplots behind jusco. hmm ...

but seriously, if i have the money, i really would consider doing some biz there. may be mamak stall? why no rich investor want to run biz down there in silk. i visited the 101 chinese restaurant twice already and i can see their business is quite ok.

ya, that's what i thought too. may be the demand is not enough yet. but feel wasted seeing so many empty shops there and of course if they open shops there then of course will attract ppl to move in there as well.

but i would highly recommend 满天星at bandar sg long (same row with 7-11) as the price is reasonable and food also taste good (especially their sambal petai fish).

i see. we stop eating tilapia for a while already. in fact they keep recommending us to order fish during our 1st visit but we never order coz we don really like fish.

Just wondering anyone still haven't tried the bak kut teh and zhu keok chou at kampong baru balakong one? I am pretty sure this is quite famous among this area right?

Ya, but still 1 of our favourite so far. Single serve RM18 for both BKT and ZKC now. I just had it during the weekend. Still very very crowded during the weekend.

yea, if you coming from Silk Residence then you need to make U-turn twice. U-turn once at CS118, then go straight all the way and U-turn again at the petronas/Segi there then turn left into kampung baru balakong.

yup. but if they did not maintain it well then it will just go down south. but at least so far i can see that the management had done quite a great job. every complains i make they will put efforts in rectifying them.
