anyone has issue streaming more than 1080p video for example 1440p video on YouTube to Apple TV (3rd gen) via WiFi?

mine is AC1200 (5Ghz) wifi router, but it does not load the 1440p video on YouTube. 1080p and below one have no issues.

No 4K content on even the 4th gen Apple TV, max out at 1080p 60Hz.

ic. then quite wasted. in this case, using the smart tv built-in youtube app to watch better.

I am also on a 100% Apple ecosystem... but it's also a shortcoming for movie fans IMO

The Apple TV is woefully inferior to literally all other similar products out there

If you REALLY want 4K content, just go with Netflix or buy an Ultra HD Blu-ray player

Can just watch from smart tv directly instead. They got built-in apps for these.

People in this thread are so rich and advanced. In my backward town everyone is still watching TV on their 5" phones.

Most of them even watch it in portrait mode.
