Hi,

This is my first audio system built. Below is what has been installed :

1. Speaker :
- Front = Adam's Digital GTR-442 (2-Way Coaxial Speaker)
- Rear = Adam's Digital RCX692 (2-Way Coaxial Speaker)

2. Sub-Woofer : Kenwood KFC-W2509

3. Amplifier : Adam's Digital 4 Channel Class-AB Power Amplifier (Jade Series) - JDM-70.4 (1800W)

4. Cap Ayam HU : Dynaquest (Bought it before installing the audio system. Planning to change to Sony or any suggestion?)

I have zero knowledge in ICE and dont know whether this setup is proper or not (installed by Brothers) and what else is needed to be installed for a better sound?

Current Setup :

Front Left + Back Left Speaker = 1 Channel
Front Right + Back Right Speaker = 1 Channel
Sub-Woofer = 2 Channel

The problem now is, the behind speaker is louder than the front and I cant seem to adjust the fader because both the front and rear is under one channel. Will a branded HU increase the sound quality? and what Double Din HU is recommended? Do I need any preamp or crossover? Please advise which trusted and professional shop I can visit to peform a better job.

Thanks
magnesium

Seriously u get better audio clarity with good HU even u don't have the best speaker

I've changed 3 different HU with same speaker and sub combo...and only settled after change to Alpine HU

Alpine is too expensive for me sad.gif . Was looking at either Sony XAV-W651BT or JVC KW-V230BT. Are these HU acceptable? Which one would you recommend?

Thanks

Sorry... I can only recommend the one I personally tested... Personal preference... I like JVC audio better than Sony ... But please note I'm comparing something like 5 years ago model.. the sound may have changed recently with different DAC

1.run on only front speaker with the amp...
-1channel to front left...1channel to front right...bridge 2 channel for sub...
2.rear speaker run direct on headunit...
3.change headunit...

should be better after that
