975 board can support SLi? True? I think that not supported officially thought. Maybe can SLi via unofficial patch?

Dun think so unless nVidia decided to merge 2gather wif Intel like what ATI n AMD had done biggrin.gif

Hope so drool.gif
But IMO nVidia won't authorise Intel easily 2 let them SLI enable on their Intel based chipset coz SLI been much more successful than ATI's crossfire blush.gif
Since SLI successful, if u r nVidia boss u also won't let other parties share ur profit easily unless there r sumthin else happened sad.gif

just read this article, just intel X38 chipset will support PCI-E 2.0

Intel P35 and P33 will in market in Q2, X38 Q3

those chipset will paired either one of this southbridge ICH9, ICH9DH and ICH9DO

general of ICH9 :
All iterations of the southbridge support twelve USB ports, six PCI-Express x1 ports, six SATA 3Gbps ports with eSATA and Matrix RAID support, Intel HD Audio and a single PATA port.

addon ICH9DH : supports Intel's Viiv initiative
addon ICH9DO : business focused and labelled under vPro
