so why did you end up in matriculation? that place is full of lazy students whom did really bad at SPM and have no where else to go other than work in society.

just sayin', it's always better to hang out with good students.

Mostly because it's an easy way to get into public U's man. Lazy students? Well yeah.

so how many years do you need to study in matriculation before getting into public uni?

same year as A-Level? then good. but sure there's many matriculation students gaining entry to public uni?

Hey guys, I'm a to be Matrics student here. So, I'm just wondering if any of you who've been to Matrics here can share any of your interesting stories or memorable events while you were continuing your studies there. Was it a culture shock, were you able to adapt quickly or was it just something completely different. Any and all stories/opinions are appreciated. smile.gif
Edit: I'm trying to lie to myself that Matrics doesn't suck. Pls help.

I was homesick tbh and the wifi there sucked. Not sure about now, that was like 5 years ago. If possible, complete all your tutorials exercise before weekend then you can party all you want in the weekend. Tbh, transition from matriculation to uni a bit harder than school to matriculation itself. But yeah, matriculation is easy to score.

If you are dependent on internet get yourself a data plan if you can afford it. Sort of my entertainment during my time there.
Well others say it's easy to score..study hard too. Some knowledge might be useful later on in uni.
You have step half your foot in uni once you accept matriculation.
As for my experience take care of your belongings well.
While others say it sucks all those ignore them.
You save a year in pre u. You will enter uni earlier a year than those who undergone form 6.
You are lucky to be chosen to attend matric. I assume from your user name you are not a Bumi.

Hello there. I just finished my matriculation few days ago.

Life in matricuation is almost like in a boarding school. Classes are from 8am until 5pm with 1 hour lunch break. You are only allowed to go out during weekends. Matriculation is very easy to score. Just focus during lectures, complete the assignments given and you will be fine.

Also, don't spend all your time studying. Join the clubs and all the activities in the college. Have fun!

Take care of your belongings. When you get out from your room, always put and lock your handphones and wallet in the locker, even if you only want to go to the toilet.

I lost 2 phones and rm150, when I asked my roommate where my stuff is, they buat donno je. Then I borrow my classmate phone next door and call my phone, Ada bunyi bawah bantal dia. I straight go report and had him change room.

Never trust anyone.
