if you mean park at kuala kedah, usual parking rate is rm 10
if use roro ( bring your car with you in it ) need to drive to kuala perlis. price dont know. never use
kuala kedah only can use pontoon to bring your car to langkawi. ( 1 day travel time) u go to the island first or send your car first

about 50-60km i think
yes keys, photocopy of geran as well
and word of advice, never ever handover your car with lots of fuel in tank.
blinking fuel warning is the best.
its not that they will siphon your fuel you should worry about
but the deck worker has been known to sleep inside your car during the trip
so less fuel = less chance your car become their sleeping pod

i remember this one story an uncle sitting next table was telling his family.

he said one time he was eating at mamak, he ordered roti canai, so when the food arrives he eats, felt nothing wrong, but as he continue eating his food, he starts to realize there are brownish chunks inside his roti canai, so he checked further, smelt it, realize it's shit. no idea how the shit got into the roti, unlikely the mamak didn't wash hand after toilet because it's not small chunk.

so he told his family he never eated roti canai (or was it mamak) for few years.

all the while i was eating my dinner next table. i chuckled but at the same time kesian him.

i'm guessing some rat must have went into the roti canai tub and shat on it, sometimes they just leave whole tub of flour on the floor uncovered.

Yes safe
No people disturb
Just follow road aign and go to all official properties

Dont trust "good samaritans" who offer yiur better parking / covered parking/ whatsoever

Just go for official parking
Official jetty
Offcial counter

Dont need to rush your car booking / itinerary stuff at kuala kedah/perlis, you can do that after you crossed to kuah jetty. No such thing as sked later reach there no car booking /full or what.

If you drive, then no need to drag all the baggages etc. I think still convenient for families with small kids. Planning to do the same unless my wife is dead set on boarding plane.

check out their roro service and timetable, and you compare whether worth themoney and time or not. i wil stil recommend you go rent car there, rent dif car dif experience to drive there, becaue one day one departure only (ferry)

usually stay MORE than 1 week baru consider to drive your car into that island. RM 70-80 can get you a nissan sentra / honda city/vios
now you can travel with your car, no need put your car unattended and wait overnght

http://www.langkawiroro.com/

Hotel - personally i no idea, everytime i stay the cheapest one ..
cenang- budget wise you can go aldina, a quiet corner from the busy street, got parkings , facilities soso but at least got a small pool

if u want sit together with the car on the same ferry, then can only leave from Kuala Perlis.

Roro or Langkawi auto express will do

just take note 1 thing that the ferry is super duper slow. Usually normal ferry take 45 mins to 1 hour from kuala perlis jetty to langkawi. This will take 2 hours and sometimes 2.5 hours.
