yes this is the problem
Maxis is using TM fiber infra to supply to residences.
if Maxis internet got problems, Maxis cannot help you as fiber infra belongs to TM
Therefore, any issue, at the end TM is the one to checkĀ  NOT maxis.

Yup, has been experiencing 17days without internet with maxis, and have to call them a few times everyday to hantam them. If no call, easily have to wait one month.

That is what happened when you outsourced the whole maxis ftth to subcontractor. And you can't blame them because most probably it's not profitable having rented your infra from someone else.

Worst, maxis ftth implemented iPV6 yesterday and problems cannot be solved until today.

Tons of websites are not accessible. For example Apple.com and lowyat forum as well.

Their temporary solution to disable iPV6 is only good for pc and laptop. Tablet and phone still got stuck. These days people is using mobile device to surf net, limited to pc/laptop is simply ridiculous.

How can you implement the iPV6 en mass without test?

Kinda fed-up!

This is terrible..
Thought the Maxis services and TM can solve the issue at least 2 weeks. Och Now one month sad.gif  sad.gif
I can said IPV6 still in infant stage in Malaysia, as many users still using IPV4.
For those users especially Corporate using Maxis IPV6 will face downtime then!
In this case , Did Maxis revert to you when can resolve IPV6? mega_shok.gif

Based on their track record, it could takes forever!

In unifi, you can enable or disable iPV6 via the router right?

In Maxis, you can't!

Now I am stuck when it comes to mobile device. I can only disable iPv6 on PC/Laptop

Now answering via my digi handphone mobile data. So my maxis ftth is as good as redundant.

Maybe it's time to move on.

Any Unifi Lite subscriber? How is the performance?

Sounds like Maxis is bullshitting!!

The IPv6 is totally under Maxis control and has nothing to do with TM. TM only provides the infrastructure at the Physical & Data Link Layers. Routing at the Network Layer (including IP addressing) is under respective ISP, in this case Maxis.

Not surprising to me, as I am not able to speak to the technical team.

They set a barrier where we are only able to speak to customer service who know nothing but "customer disservice".

At the moment, it seems local website like lowyat.net is now okay(intermittently).

But overseas one like apple.com, BBC.com, CNN.com still not accessible.

in my case, I am using UniFi, no major problems for me with IPv6. All sites work well most of the time. I only remember a couple of years ago I did have some minor issues that some sites are a little slow with IPv6. But everything is fine most of the time recently.

But if I have any issues with IPv6 now, it's with my Celcom LTE mobile data. In this case, I actually disabled it on my mobile data connection on my phone. No choice.

May I know how to disable iPV6 on tablet and mobile? In my case iOS.

Boss, I dont need Hypptv lah  rclxub.gif . I just want internet line. From internet line I can get almost whole world channels for free (Far more superior than HyppTV).
*
Second that, we already have Astro, not going to watch Hypptv, so why force us to take a piece of junk?

Without hypptv, the cost is at least rm50 cheaper.

Now Unifi Lite is the only choice, at a price point that is too high to take on.

Oh okay... thought you may need to switch it.
Since you are more in to internet line, whatever HyppTV package you get doesn't matter.
Well.. I wish that HyppTV that can be removed too, but it is their TM decision that subscribe internet line must comes with HyppTV.
No HyppTV no internet line... they monopolize local market and we have no choice. sad.gif

Tell that to people from other countries, they will laugh us off for being forced to take a piece of junk when subscribing internet!
