I wonder if you go to TM Point to terminate your unifi, will they try to counter offer. Any sifu's mind sharing their experience?

Afer a month plus experiencing network degradation performance issues with my unifi 50mbps plan which I only manage to get only around 15-20 Mbps.

TM level 1 and flying squad has collected all the logs and troubleshoot but still failed to resolve the issue and the ticket was escalated to NOC last 3 weeks urging them to manually upgrade my speed asap to 100mbps as my upgrade is due in June (as per system) as they suspect it's due to port congestion issue. 3 weeks plus has passed and no action or update by NOC to act in my ticket.

Finally, I filed an official complain to MCMC, Shazali Ramly (TM CEO) and CTO on Friday morning raising g my dissatisfaction on my issue and also on pure discrimination on the TM pricing plan which why some are paying RM209, RM219 and RM229 for 50 Mbps plan.

Now, I'm just gonna wait and see their response as I have given TM too many chances and time and yet they failed to update or act on my ticket which was logged 1 month ago with them.

I got my free upgrade to 100mbps today. Unifi provided me with a new modem and router.

Can I still use my old router (Asus rt-a68u) by just connecting it to the new modem?

Or is there some special settings that require the new router?

Thanks in advance for any info/help on this matter.

Hi, I'm using Asus RT-AC87U with unifi 100 Mbps. Works flawlessly and superb coverage and bandwidth as I enabled both 2.4ghz and 5ghz band.

No additional configuration required.

Thanks for the clarification. I've since replaced TM's crappy router with my RT-AC68U and it works perfectly.

Now ... what to do with 100Mbps?  tongue.gif

Lol! Download ... download and do more download 😀

If the AUTH and LINK lights on the modem are not lighting up, does it mean there is a hardware fault or a networl fault?

Wifi is working but no Internet connection.

It could be related to your unifi account. Try to reconfigure your unifi account again on the router as this is a common issue and if still not resolved, then it's network related

Quick question guys,

Those successfully upgraded to 100mbps, will they take back your current existing equipment when they come to your house to replace with new equipment?

I recall some even got double upgrade.

Some got 20-50 Mbps upgrade for free prior to budget announcement and now again free upgrade from 50 to 100mbps.

Lol! My free upgrade was push from march, April then June and the last I checked 2 days ago was after July. I was so f***ing angry and upset and suddenly today I got a call from TM informing they are coming this Thursday to upgrade me.

Insummary, the website doesn't show accurate information
