quick question, just got my old tower modem replaced with a new modem + route combo device (netis DL4480V)
technician setup with some basic wifi ssid and password and now i want to change it to something more secure
problem is i dont have the router (192.168.1.1) login and google search did not hit any common/default login for this device model

anyone here knows what is the default login that unifi uses for this device?

usually developer have applied application to TM on development infrastructure with in new site.
TM will get their people to lay the infra before project completion or handover

Upgraded from 20mbps to 50mbps Kepong area last week. However, my TM router is not capable of handling 50mbps for wifi, only 20mbps max. Will TM change the router for free if I call them or I have to buy it?
*
you need to get a better router. anything that tm give for free is lousy device.

That means the fault lies in the router. Renew your contract for free the equipment or if you want something better, get a router in the market.

Will try out TM router first as it is free if i renew contract. I will be using Unifi for next few years anyway since Time is not available for landed house.

Thanks.

TP-link Performance is certainly better. Even the user interface of the configuration page is smoother and easier.

The new ac1200 they gave is known to have 4-5 times or even longer boot up time than the old archer c5 they gave.
*
have you / anyone tried to do firmware updates on TP-LINK C1200? Try to update to MY firmware but failed to extract the zip file. No problem at all when extracting EU firmware though. Currently still on v1.0.0 build 20161115 rel 42795 (EU) stock from TM.

If your housing is high rise, get the joint management body or building management to write letter/email with letter attachement to Time requesting for internet in your housing area.
However, if your housing is landed write letter to TM as Time will not dare invest on landed premise. Supporting signature from all the premise owner is also good as added value. For TM maybe can send the letter to the Manager of the nearest TMpoint.
