Even on NMAX I'm starting to feel this now lol. My commute being KL-Seremban is about 70km. Sadly XMAX is too big and heavy for me, so I may have to look for a bike next.Yamaha NVX/ Aerox 155, New Scooter

QUOTE(apisfires @ Mar 30 2019, 12:47 PM) Yeah. Maybe will upgrade in a year or two, but I'm quite disappointed that I can't physically handle the XMAX. Hope that a scooter between the NMAX and XMAX size and displacement is launched by then. |

QUOTE(apisfires @ Mar 31 2019, 11:25 AM) I think Elegan does not have ABS, even though the original non-rebadged model does? The price is amazing, but I have sat on one and it felt even heavier than the XMAX. My problem is that I am suffering from a heart condition which limits my physical strength and stamina. Hence ideal for me would be something just a bit bigger than NMAX with around 200cc engine; enough for me to keep up with and overtake most cars. If not, will have to look at used 250+cc bikes with ABS and A&S clutch, as I can probably handle bikes with lighter clutch lever action. |

QUOTE(apisfires @ Apr 1 2019, 09:44 AM) im sorry for your health problem Yeah, for me riding bike requires all senses for safety. Even the smallest disability can have big effects.i think your choice is limited im hard of hearing disability, so can use bike properly just need check mirror every 15 sec lol But still, feels better than driving car. QUOTE(JustJoinedToday @ May 7 2019, 09:15 AM) I saw many used 2018/19 NVX on mudah Based on what I read on the FB groups, it's mostly because they bought for stylo purposes or thought it was fast. Then hang out with friends who have Ysuku/Y15 and LC135 and realize it's no match for those things. NVX is just a NMAX with sportier ergonomics, ABS, and less 'jetski' look. Why people selling this scooter? not good? I'm thinking to get 1 by end of this week If you're thinking of buying, understand that the bike is not meant to be an actual super sport scoot like the TMAX. It's a nice looking commuter machine that will get you from point A to point B, and has the advantage of ABS for additional safety. If that's what you're looking for, go for it. EDIT: There are also some issues with the digital dash spazzing out and the standard center-stand breaking. So if you're buying 2nd hand, watch out for these. QUOTE(benzina @ Oct 8 2019, 12:50 PM) I also found something i did NOT like about the NMAX....I found it difficult to find the centre balance when going very slow crawling pace. It felt like it wanted to tip from one side or the other. IT was very strange, perhaps it was that low seat to higher handlebar arrangement that caused this issue i found with it, because i can't think of anything else. Glad I wasn't the only one who noticed this. It took a while for me to get used to it on mine, but eventually I was able to make the bike tilt where I wanted it to at slow speeds and when stopping.Where as the Aerox and the Piaggio Liberty 150 have great low speed balance from my experience with them, and both have similar seat height to handlebar position. |
