apparently waiting list is now 3 - 4 months regardless of colour

my bike shop told me that supplier requires him to fulfill a certain MOQ of other yamaha models then only can allocate 1 unit of the NVX for him

He said to me with a straight face that if i wasnt a long time customer, he wouldnt even bother with NVX booking for now

dang.. besides nvx, was there any similar issue with regards to other bikes in recent years? really so in demand or just too low of ready stock upon launch?

sigh.. the waiting time is so long that i might just splurge the budget for smthg else by then

I've been patronising this bike shop for more than 10 years, would be weird if I purchase from another shop unless it's much cheaper or smthg

Plus I tendered n won the bid for my num plate thru his shop too, without paying a cent upfront so I think it's only fair he gets my business haha

I did ask around a few more shops in pg, all also said 3 - 4 months at least but no guarantee at all

so envious of you guys! still waiting for my blackie
