Hi, what is the difference between Sharp tv LC50UA440X and LC50UE630X? Planning to buy 1 but not sure which to choose.. Or LG 49UH610T better/?

Sharp picture quality is anytime better than LG. UE630X web system is android

if you intend to surf using the tv web function, it's much easier to use the android based. ua440x you're limited to browser, netflix and youtube app. if 630x you can install other android app just like ur phone. other than that the other tv feature looks same

LG avoid at all cost

If talk about picture, 630 picture look finer, 440x a bit blocky. But if sit further away wont notice.

If want to buy LG, they using IPS panels, good viewing angle, not so good Blacks.

630x is high end of sharp tv while 440x not..sharp far better

If compare sharp 630x and Sony x7000d both model almost same only differences Sony hdr supported while sharp not..if asking my personal opinion I will say sharp 630x has better build quality than Sony x7000d caused one is high end and another is beginner series of Sony...colour wise I choose sharp caused Sony preset colour too rich u need manually adjust to get better output..so choice is yours if u need hdr function go for Sony..both tv good actually no worries

Its a good tv too u can add android box for smart function..can save money there or can get bigger size...if u going to buy 4k tv u have to use it otherwise it gonna be just waste...u can consider sharp 330x too and add a android box to it...

U cant ask me actually u have to ask yourself u going to watch 4k quality movie or just wanna watch normal Astro...if for Astro full HD tv is more than enough..if u wanna future proof maybe in future u want to try 4k stuff bought 4k tv caused current android box supports 4k..remember u need at least 30mbps to watch 4k movie in android box..with full HD tv u can save alot money...if u going to buy 4k tv try compare price between 330x and 630x if the price differences too near better get 630x...try demo at senheng for sharp630x and Sony x7000 let your eyes choose the tv don't let the seller wash your head

broadband speed is impt for all new premium tv's as they are designed to stream and display HD/uhd4k stuff.

if u r quite sure u will be at 8mbps for the next 5 years, save the money, buy the 275x.

or any 1080p tv that u find best value. 4k, hdr models, no need to consider.

but if u think u may get 30, 50mbps soon, then better go for higher grade tv.



the box... if u hv low internet speed, u will also not be able to get good stuff, streamed or downloaded.

so, do not spend too much on the boxe as well.

8mbps will get u some SD, limited HD stuff only.

becos it depends on many things.

not just 30 or 100 mbps.

reliable apps like netflix, no problem.

other apps, esp free ones, not so straightforward.

some need special accounts, some need vpn, some very good fro a week then die off, etc..

all these are discussed in androidbox and kodi threads.

unfortunately the sharps seem not to be popular in the western world, so I couldn't find review of similar detail on one of them.

lets take the 55uh615t (above review) for instance, while the tv has some downsides I think its a quite capable set.

the 55uh615t is 2697rm, the lc50ue630x is 2799rm, and the lc50ua440x is 2229rm at this moment from what I figured.

last thing, are you sure the 440x and 630x are that different? to me it seems they mainly differ in connectivity and smart feautures.

so repellent towards lg hehe caused this brand playing too much hide n seek actually..first what is hdr pro is that mean the tv support 10 bit panel and did lg confirm that debate still go on but many experts said it is marketing gimmicks...i don't trust web review actually your eye will be your best review...yup sharp not popular in western but remember certain model name different between Asia and foreign country so when u search for ue630x u wont find anything..I wanna ask u a question now why lg offer cheap tv with full spec caused they support Malaysian people hehe...crap hardware sure will give u crap output..if u have unlimited budget without doubt I will ask u to get lg oled that's people call better build quality and tech I support that too.most of lg have poor black caused ips panel u will get a good viewing angle but not a impress colour I mean for their normal 4k led tv..try go to nearby senheng and demo the lg try change the colour mode from dynamic to cinema or standard.same goes to Samsung why higher series have high price tag because of the quality and engine inside the tv..for Samsung 7 series above will be a good choice..between sharp 630x and 440x u are comparing high end tv to mid end..i didn't demo 440x yet so cant comment much and 440x not listed in their premium category too..have u seen sharp 330x non smart tv but 4k supported..if u compare 330x to 630x the upscaling on 630x is far superior because of the hardware.let say u have 3k and u going to buy tv u will look for good tv within your budget right or u wanna buy crap tv even though the price differences between good tv only few bucks..some people have a mindset this tv enough for me for 2k price tag..some people they like good quality panel with impressive colour so depends on buyer actually..u need to demo so u can find the differences example sharp ue630x preset colour brightness is 0 and contrast is 32 backlight 6 colour 5 sharpness 5 while for Sony x7000d preset brightness is 50 and contrast 90+ if not mistaken all above 50 actually its like u pushing the led to perform to give u impressive output..after hours tweaking my uncle tv Sony x7000d at last the tv gets good output but I still prefer sharp..that moment u will feel the extra money u paid for certain model is worth actually..I'm not saying sharp is the world best tv its more to build quality actually..from the model u list out above try demo them altogether with same own source movie than u will know what I'm trying to say..
