I still waiting for the Xbox 360 ver.2 with HDMI. The launching date and the price still not conform. So, what I worry is that some of the original games will not be available in the market after I purchase the Xbox 360.

So, should I buy the games first then wait for Ver.2 Xbox 360 to be available in the market. Will some of the games like DOA, DOAX2, N3, Blue dragon & GOW be available near the end of 2007?

GoW will be. As long as I know DOAX2 and N3 weren't so great of games, so I'm not sure. Pervs might keep DOAX2 in the market for some time though

To answer your statements:

- To my knowledge there is no such sale of illegal goods (INCLUDING PIRATED GOODS) in the pasar malam thread.

- The goods dont have to be 5th hand to be cheaper, as soon as its second hand the price drops to about 100ish ringgit anyways depending on how much it has been used.

- Generally people in the forum here tend to look after their games, although some games have scratches, generally I have noticed that most games are scratch free good work guys

Why I always ask pirated stuff... Simple, I'm not a very high paid worker who wanted to own a Xbox 360. Unless I get promoted or strike 1st prize in 4D which will never happen.

dont worry all games still be around lah... maybe you cant find new but used games should be around. buying used games also not a bad idea so far all used games that i bought all still in good condition. unless you are those that very particular dont wanna buy/own useds games then buy new lah!

Why would you want GRAW 1 and not GRAW 2?

not everyone got the same taste for games lah. you might llike some games and i might dislike it. good example, most ppl dont like outfit but i like it so much and still keeping it till today.

But it's the same title... GRAW is a prequel to GRAW 2... The Outfit is a totally independent game.

1. the Xbox 360 ver.2 with HDMI. is rumored to be released for the western market for IPTV usage. whether we'll get an NTSC/J Asian version or not still unknown. wait until MAY for any confirmation, maybe we get a pricedrop for the regular white edition?

2. DOA4 and N3 sure still available, cos many new owners buy bundle set but some dont really like that style of games, they'll sell at pasar malam thread brand new.

3. GeOW original will still be available in 2012, its a bestseller

4. a word of warning on DOAX2, dont be disappointed but this game really have some compatibility problems. test 1st b4 buying

5. like ppl said, blue dragon not yet released. the game have 3 discs, if u find a gaming buddy who lives near your area, can share playing with him. u play first, when u reach disc2, let he play disc1, LoL

6. erm, really nothing wrong with trading 2nd hand/3rd hand games. u know ler original games so expensive, most owners very careful with them. somemore, most of game traders are active members here, they wont cheat u by selling a badly scratched up disc and claimed mint condition u oso can take very good care of the disc and then resell it later to another gamer

7. sometimes MS release(reissue) a budget version of older game titles, e.g.

Apparently it's an Xbox game, not an Xbox 360 game and so people don't look around for it unless they already played the game or something. It's also quite old... 2004...

the reason i asked to ask in pasar malam section cos that's what i did, and 2 forumers pm'd me. so yea, just try asking and don't assume nobody wants to sell it for 2nd hand. you may be lucky y'know?

ok initially nargoe said he can't find halo 2, n thts where my reply came in. i assume he wants to buy it and play it, multiplayer or not.

also maybe our forumers don't play halo 2 mp anymore (dunno bout mobius and keantan tho) but they're plenty of lag free servers from outside m'sia. it's not like there's only 10 ppl left in the world playing it.

If you play with some americans sometimes the lag isn't so bad. You get a low green or a high yellow but a red is uncommon. I don't know why. Playing with some aussies is like playing with singaporeans, but playing with other aussies is like playing with laggy americans. Weird one.

....uh..ok.

How old is old? Xbox360 games are not that 'old' yet...buy the game when you got the machine.
