Ubox has 2 live tv apps, Live TV and UBLive. UBLive performance seems to be better

QUOTE(OCMAX @ Dec 16 2017, 09:11 PM)
I'm using EVpad Plus and I help my friend to maintain her Ubox3.

Why I picked EVpad plus is because it comes with 2G ram 32G memory. Ubox 4 only has 1G ram & 16G memory.

Ubox 3 has problem on & off because the live channels kept going down and nowadays the VOD also not working.

EVpad has better live channels. more stable but it will lag sometime. It has 3 different live TV apps for HK channels. Mine has PLUS live HK, HK temp live & EASY LIVE TV which has over 12++ channels +H265 channels.

Malaysia channels works but don't expect good quality (480p). Now I only watched HK channels because it has better quality & H265 channels.

EVpad VOD also not bad. load pretty fast just that sometime it has to closed and open the apps again if the episode update not loading. Emovies just has an improved version.

The only downside is the EVpad North America live channels. not working most of the time but you can always used others Europe live TV apps to watch those channels.

ps: EVpad plus run much much smoother than Ubox 3&4, 2G>1G makes a lot of different

I have tried a few Tvbox. Some are paid IPTV. Well all I can said is that same shit for Malaysian live channels. Buffering all the time. Can't really watch.

Gonna get EvPad plus very soon. Hope it is better. Else money down the drain again.

As OCMAX got a good review about EVPAD PLUS, buy only from authorized dealer to prevent from being blacklisted.

A lot of people said that EVPAD is more stable in IPTV.
I'm going to get it soon, EVPAD PLUS have better performance.
With 2GB is a pro.

Thanks for the review for EVPAD PLUS.

Planning to get it next year.
Happy to see the reviews.

Is the Movies and Documentary channels are working?
I'm most focus on English Movies, documentary and Malaysia channels.

Is the AXXro SuperSports 1 - 4 is working?
Live channels load faster than Ubox.

Getting EVPAD PLUS because the requirements that you mentioned is same as mine

What about Taiwan channels?
Working smoothly?
*
Taiwan live channels sometime lag ..sometime cant load ..but sometime smooth..
try other pre loaded APP same problem ...
end up use free APP to watch ...

btw...evpad pro user here ...
the remote control not very sensitive ...need go closely to the box only can smooth control..
usually they will foc 2.4GHz usb keyboard + mouse

evpad plus over price for me...
this type 1time payment lifetime TV box IPTV no need high spec box ...the smooth channels depend on their Server and Internet line ...high spec if you intend to install many many APP inside ..

thanks ...

Thanks for the review bro.
You don't feel any lag when exit and opening of the Apps.

The remote control can learn the IR sensor?
The white button at the top of the remote?

Let's discuss it in PM.

You can try to program the TV remote and the EVPAD remote together.

Face both remote sensor together.
Press and hold the power button until it bright.
Press the power button from EVPAD remote and press the power button from the TV remote. And so on for the others.
After that, press any button to quit learning state.

Test the IR learning button can work with your TV or not.

I don't own any of the evpad or ubox. But I know for the time being, evpad is the stable one compare with ubox. However bear in mind that these one time payment box survive by only collect one time payment by selling the box only. So you try to think if one day the sales is no going well, how their operation going to survive.

I have the EVpad PLUS for about a month, my previous tvbox is Himedia H8+ and hypptv STB.

I subscribed yearly live IPTV with my H8+, going to expired soon. a very useless IPTV service. goes down a lot but after understanding how these IPTV services works. you can't blame them either because their source are being ripped by sniper everyday. They constantly changed their access key.

Most of those free IPTV online that you can find are ripped source from all these boxes.

If you need to used English as primary than EASY TV is more for you. other PLUS apps are all in Chinese. but those English channels still using alphabet (HBO etc)..

EVPAD PLUS apps alone has many channels. won't able to watch all of them.. LOL

EVOD, E-Movies, E-playback very useful.

btw! KODI is useless to me, I haven't use it for more than 6months.... LOL

ps: another downside of EVpad is their stock player. I don't like the feature. I used MX player pro most of the time.

does your malaysian channels in easy tv and my tv lag? in my case... sport channels are super laggy... although my internet running with one device alone only... which is the tv box... so i think their live tv server can serve the big volume during live matches....

i think no one can answer you. but considering few hundred cost, if you can view up to 2 years or above, that is already worth the money.

I started buying ubox Gen 3 ..about 2 years back .. now using 2 unit of ubox GEN 4 ..

so far so good for my viewing pleasure .

Let me test it first.

I'm mainly focused on Malaysia Channels and Sports Channels.
Including Taiwan channels too. Like English Channels.
Wait for my review ya.

Like AXTXO too
I will test out Sports. We'll watch sports like badminton during the match day.
