DMC game talk eh? Anyone tried Dante Must Die Mode before? Yea I've beaten both DMC1 and DMC3 dante must die (itemless on DMD DMC1 except the slime-like boss and last boss), all I can remember is the pain (especially dmc3, it's even harder than DMD DMC 1). But it's good bragging rights.

Back onto the anime, hm not yet, but prolly wait until the tv release. I am disappointed of the random loli girl they put in though.

Nah not really, once you played DMD and beated it you'd understand. Progear could be hard, but it doesn't mean DMD is easy : )

Hope the loli char mixes in well, altho I am not hoping much!

Time line of DMC is DMC3>DMC1 (so DMC3 is kinda like prequel).

Anime timeline is after DMC 1, which is also after DMC3, since Dante knew both Trish AND lady.

As a huge DMC fan (DMD almost itemless on 1 and 3 <3), the series is pretty average, but then again it has already been stated that the series is about the daily life of Dante so no major storyline or anything. It's just some monster pop out, Dante show some action, monster dies, but got no money or got cheated by girls/lolis as usual.

Man such a let down. WHERE IS THE DEVIL TRIGGER AH. I guess they could have at least let him devil trigger to please the fans a little.... Sigh...

Just a less than average series, even for a DMC fan like me.

I personally find it pretty average, as a huge DMC fan. There could be season 2, but I haven't heard any official announcement yet.
