I always keep the phone charged in when it drops below 60% when driving, so no problem there of losing charge.

Avoid Asus / Huawei. Both have GPS lock problem.

Motorola / Apple so far the best. GPS lock pretty fast and stable.

I believe phones with older Snapdragon chipset are having lock-in issues. Didn't have newer phones with Snapdragon chips with me, so couldn't verify on them.

Also, just switch in WiFi on your phone. No need to connect to any network. Phones will find any nearby available wifi signal and attempt to triangulate your location. Works best while indoors or in between tall buildings

Im using s7 edge for Grab, constantly plugged in to the car charger.

Since its an AMOLED display, now the Waze interface is burned into the screen already..

This and always this

My Note5 got GPS lock issues sometimes and after 7hrs continues ON doing Uber, its hot and gets buggy, and worst is, if customer using old Sony phong, always interfere with the Note5 .
