After weeks of using the s8 i still can't get used to the new 18.5 to 9 format. Aesthetics over practicality??
I still feel that 16 to 9 is the best ratio to operate on phones.

QUOTE(andrekua2 @ May 14 2017, 08:29 AM) We all start somewhere... wasn't too long ago when 16:9 was being questioned. But when the transition from 4:3 to 16:9 the width remain unchanged, the width of the iPhone 4 to iPhone 5 is maintained. But this, like many have argued in previous posts, things are actually rendered smaller. Also the height is pretty beyond reachable.

QUOTE(squall_kay @ May 14 2017, 01:28 PM) how's tidal HIFI vs spotify premium in terms of quality and battery consumption? traditionally download mp3 and stored in phone but nowadays felt too much time consuming thus start using spotify premium since 1 year ago. but the battery consumption (despite only using it at during weekdays during my time driving between office and home) kinda bad. Many are just buying into tidal for its loseless for nothing. Seriously phone dacs can't bring the best out of flac files. Not to mention the conventional earphones too. A good input source is nothing with decent output. So unless you are on lg g6 or the v20 with audiophile graded earphones/headphones stick with Spotify.

QUOTE(Velocity @ May 14 2017, 01:42 PM) samsung s8+ with a audiophile earphone also unable to bring to best out of it? For all you know, it's tuned by akg that's all, no where near audiophile grade. Most likely they shove a small dynamic driver and brand it with akg. Even the mi pistons pack better specs. So yeah 320kbps mp3 will do just fine.
