Not really. The difference is tempered glass are easily crack or shattered even the damage is not severe.

I previously also always go for tempered glass for no reason soft drop or gentle knock give me a heart attack when I see crack lines but once tear off no damage. Once I switch to film or normal sp I don't see such anymore. If you got tempered glass but it still drop on the side then the damage is still severed.

If that 1.5m drop without case and that the only damage on tempered glass then I am amazed But from your pic it seems the case unable to absorb all the shock then it transferred the shock to the tempered glass.

I had an Asus zenphone 2 it uses glass tempered glass from direct D cost me rm40. Once drop at the side entire screen shattered or crack. Even tear off tg screen itself already damage.

That why I don't really trust rm200 tempered glass because their test is taking thing whacking the screen but does it help to absorb the shock from the side?

I agree with Andre. The problem is you not online. You want safety but not willing to pay but pay less worry not original. No one can guarantee whether it will be original except for official retail shop.
