Yup seeting alarm wont drain battery overnight, wht i mean is if u didnt turn off the alarm when its time, then your phone gonna wake up & power-up your screen.

Maybe it just me, i have 7-8 alarms sets in between 10 minutes, it can drain 8-10% if i ddnt wake up..lol..
*
lol no wonder, as I only got 1 alarm whistling.gif

Yalo, it needs disable a lot. This part iOS really win Android.

Haha! I find it difficulty if need to off this and that. True also turn off means you are disconnect with world and if emergency can't find you.

Sometimes when owners shared things like idle battery drain, it's really unclear about the duration they left it, just simply said overnight.

Things like this really hard to draw a clear line. I also can say I had 0-1% drop overnight on my S6e.

Well, firstly I never install facebook and messenger which is the best known battery drainer. I only had whatsapp and gmail. No Instagram, almost nothing. Metal Pro replacing Twitter and Facebook app and even that with notifications turned off. I also turned off Play Store auto update. Add: Even OS update also set to manual.

What I really get is occasional YouTube notification about LoL matches, few emails from pbb card promotion, and nothing else. Usually on wifi at home.

You can't really blame the OS for battery drain when its doing something behind the scene.

as I said, the person in the video didnt optimise anything so its playing in 16:9 ratio instead of 18.5:9, thats why it look smaller than the 6p.
*
QUOTE(Andrewtst @ May 13 2017, 11:33 PM)
It is not the optimise thing, how many video on earth is 18.5:9 ratio.... As for this S8/S8+ which had 18.5:9 ratio panel, the 6.2" 18.5:9 ratio panel just look similar size with 5.5" 16:9 ratio panel.
*
Exactly, c the photo/video in S8 is not bigger altho it has biggest screen, you do gain the extra bottom with this format. Again I'm not complaining just pointing out I prefer S8+ screen coming from 6p.

Hey guys..Planning to buy Spigen Rugged Armor, is there any tempered glass compatible with this casing?
*
SGP rugged armor may not be compatible with a lot of sp glass/non glass. Somehow the lips of the case overlaps with the sp.

You know why I compare with Xiaomi that day? Because people ask for it. lol

Actually Xiaomi is really not bad. For that price, it is unbelievable great. At least it is far better than bundle tune by AKG crap.

They do have some real audiophile review it. XIaomi headset is the one cheap not means bad.
*
AKG tuned ones is unable to please my ears but it's comfortable, i'll give Samsung that credit haha..

Yup exactly. Sometimes I really hope Android can like iOS great standby time but I think if Android do this will facing same issue like iOS where a lot of things like for example not download / upload from third party apps or extremely slow when phone in standby mode.

You can try for one month free. After a month just decide continue subscription or not.

They is two subscription, normal or HiFi. Both type can try for free one month.

Wait ... I know what you mean, no free stream quota for it from Umobile. Haha!

Those with non red tint seem to have blue edges compared to red edges for red tint.
*
can confirm this is not true.

my first unit (the original one that i pre-ordered and got) didnt have red-tint issue, but it was green-ish on the edges and only on the left edge, same position like yours in the pic except yours is blue-ish.

my current unit with no red-tint issue doesnt have it, green nor blue. Even viewing from 45 degree angle or whatever, the white stays constant and doesnt "shift" on viewing angle. Both on the edges and on center of the screen.

Can anyone tell whether the clear coat is TPU or what?
I think I will go for tpu
http://www.phonearena.com/news/PET-TPU-or-...otector_id58204
*
i guess you can say its TPU, since it has self-healing properties as well as a wet installation method.

iinm most PET type SP is dry installation like original samsung SP while TPU mostly wet installation method like clear-coat etc.

Oh man, exploiting the fact that the width of S8 is 2mm lesser than my already small S6e... if I use it like this, it also feel smaller than my S6e.

It's not easy for people who gone big for a long time to appreciate the beauty of being small. Especially so when they start typing with their fingers that no longer knows what's accuracy is all about. laugh.gif It won't be easy... I still hate typing on my S6e at times, if not for the abundance of keyboard out there.

After weeks of using the s8 i still can't get used to the new 18.5 to 9 format. Aesthetics over practicality??

I still feel that 16 to 9 is the best ratio to operate on phones.
