Good riddance. He has been replying K-styled here, more like chit chatting with his short replies.
*
Yes.. he has been at loggerheads with many forummers here as well. laugh.gif Well, we need a bit of drama now and then to keep the thread exciting.

QUOTE(emy_xvidia @ May 9 2017, 01:43 AM)
Just insist on them to put nicely and obviously if its not nicely put you can ask them to try again. If they fark up just ask for another one. They slap a RM40 price tag for a piece of plastic, that price alone screams a good installation on your phone.
*
Trust me, they will try to convince you to buy their expensive glass TG instead citing easier installation etc. laugh.gif

RM108 for transparent film they are using LINTEC film for wrapping
*
Quite cheap compared to the skin wrapz someone was promoting. Is it life time replacement warranty like skin wrapz?

Just to share, tested the workaround to use dual sim card + microsd card at the same time for S7 Edge and confirm it works on S8 as well.

Since it requires a mod to the memory card and sim card, as usual do at own risk of voiding warranty, melting your sim/memory card, sim card tray get stuck and cannot open etc. Think carefully before trying.

However for me, it is useful as I can ditch my second phone now. rclxm9.gif

[attachmentid=8801728]

In my case, to remove the SIM card chip no need to use actual fire or candle or lighter or fancy heat gun, just move it near to hot oven or stove the glue would melt sufficiently already that you can pull it off with tweezers.

*
Good job on that. So what did you use to stick the sim chip to your micro sd? I destroyed one 128gb Samsung Evo + when I tried to insert the sim tray into my old S7E because it was buldging due to the glued on sim chip. doh.gif

Now I dont dare to try a second time sweat.gif

Installing and using GB Whatsapp is way easier then the above methods. With GB Whatsapp you can even have separate folders for your pics and documents from your other line whatsapp.

Wow how did you destroy it? Broken? If sim card broke can get replacement from service center rm10.. if 128gb or 200gb sd card broke will cry.. haha..

I just use gam UHU last time but it fell off, now tried with elephant glue seems to work. Tight fit but it went in.
*
The evo+ sd card broke because I tried to align it back after it got, crooked. cry.gif. I used a very thin type of double sided tape because I may want to swap to a different sim card later.

Different brands of dual whatapp. Same usage.

Yes, CC is very rubbery at first. But after washing it and using for few days, it is less rubbery. But still RUBBERY. Cannot compare to the smooth feeling of the original Samsung SP, it is almost as smooth as glass. CC is even worst for S-Pen based on my experience with the Note7 (just informing those who intend to use CC on Note8).
*
It is rubbery because the sp type is made of silicone. Its not plastic. Plastic types wont stick well around thd curved edges.

I don't think these are Samsung Malaysia sets...do clarify with them first
*
Its stated as Samsung Malaysia sets, but another condition is that is requires a Group Buy. Whatever nonsense that it. Risky I would say and the seller is in Butterworth.

Just discovered today that the rear camera doesn't focus at all except for near objects. Images turned out blurry & out of focus. It was ok when I first got the S8 on May 4. Front camera however is working fine. Tried restart with no effect.. ☹☹
*
You have to point the camera away for a while to something further away and then point back at your object and re-focus.

I thought you can tap the screen to choose where to focus, no?
*
Yes.. But for closeups like what the other forummer did has 'outfocussed' the camera and the pictures become blurry. So the move is to re focus it. I do it whenever Im faced with the same issue.

kinda makes me think twice about having the plus now. any plus users regret getting it and wish to get the smaller brother instead?
*
No regrets since we are getting used to larger displays nowadays. But getting the normal 8 is no let down either because it shares the exact specs besides the battery unlike the iphone 7 and 7+.
