idk i just did a factory reset and realised google play music isnt there, tried finding in play store it doesnt show up as well

This is probably the first time I didn't see any reports on rooting and flashing modified rom on a Samsung flagship device.

The hype about S8 seem to die quite fast this time. Is it because of all the negative news about the screen like red tint and burn in or people were waiting to see whay apple has up it's sleeve for their 10th anniversary baby.

or is it good to say nowadays not many ppl actually care to flash custom ROM/root on smartphones anymore?
because most manufacturers are locking their bootloaders harder than ever before

let's say if attempting to root S8, its KNOX feature will be gone for good..

Me too tired of rooting phone but i root for ti backup only, if not for backup i think i wont root as well.
Been sometime since i used an android. Is there any total backup without root now ?

Hi, adapt sound is one of the bestest things I've come across, but dunno la, when use the UHQ upscaler the sound becomes "shallower"? Listening on UE9000, wired mode + built-in amp, source material Spotify extreme quality though.

It's not difficult at all lah bro. Just a few steps ma. But thanks to your suggestion. I know the 'Do Not Disturb' function can stop the phone from ringing. But other than that, I also know that wifi/data/gps will drain the battery even you put the phone in Idle mode. Since I am sleeping and I definitely won't touch my phone entire midnight, then why not I just switch off those things and save a bit more battery life for the next morning, right? 

as I said, the person in the video didnt optimise anything so its playing in 16:9 ratio instead of 18.5:9, thats why it look smaller than the 6p.

Those with non red tint seem to have blue edges compared to red edges for red tint.

My Iphone always 0% easily overnight with wifi & 4G on. 

There's one time I could make my phone drained only 1% overnight. My ex-Note 5. I was using PDP since the first day I bought Note 5. And just for research purpose, I disable A LOT of things. I mean it, REALLY A LOT. Very extreme one. Note 5 was basically became a potato phone. And it did drain only 1% overnight. Only a few nights, then I ended the "research purpose", and everything back to normal again.
Not at all bro. Already used to that. It's more like my own discipline. Furthermore, I cannot just switch off the phone lah. I still need it on just in case of emergency calls from someone.

Things like this really hard to draw a clear line. I also can say I had 0-1% drop overnight on my S6e.

Well, firstly I never install facebook and messenger which is the best known battery drainer. I only had whatsapp and gmail. No Instagram, almost nothing. Metal Pro replacing Twitter and Facebook app and even that with notifications turned off. I also turned off Play Store auto update. Add: Even OS update also set to manual. 

What I really get is occasional YouTube notification about LoL matches, few emails from pbb card promotion, and nothing else. Usually on wifi at home.

You can't really blame the OS for battery drain when its doing something behind the scene.

Exactly, c the photo/video in S8 is not bigger altho it has biggest screen, you do gain the extra bottom with this format. Again I'm not complaining just pointing out I prefer S8+ screen coming from 6p.
