As a raider, when a new raid released, let say everyone is new to the raid, do you guys go to wowhead and read the raid mechanics then execute the strategy as written or you guys dig out with your own strategy by try and wipe and try and wipe and try until you guys defeat the raid?
World first that clear the raid, can say they are superb genius because there is no guide for them but purely grind out the mechanics?

1. blizzard had put some basic guides, open up adventure's guide (ctrl+J) and u can see each bosses mechanics 2. They are playing the PTR server and did some research from there.. usually not much changes from PTR to live For not so top like us, we usually go to fatboss tv or other top guild's strat and read wowhead and adventure's guide
I see.. Once in a while I heard people complain raid is too easy and on my experience, raid wasn't easy at all, probably I don play much so lacking of practice is one reason. But clearing a raid without any guide such as youtube / wowhead / whatever, base on own effort, imho it is hard as hell. I was wondering if those guides actually spoiled the fun of the game.
Recently Bellular had posted this video, and he mentioned, it is fun to have puzzle, but the answer to the puzzle is going to be released on wowhead next day, then players come and complain it is too easy / nothing to do.
