Hi all, just want to ask you guys opinion. My contractor do this grill door for me but I find out kinda weird. Because the grill door handle is on the left side and the wood door handle is on right side. Don't you think it is weird? I open the door on left then open the right one. Is it acceptable??

some might want to place shoe rack in between the door. so they make it like that so that u need to pull the grill to open

i dont find it weird,
in case you lousai and need the toilet urgently, right hand open grill, body masuk, before right hand let go of grill, left hand can reach for main door handle already. save that few very important seconds. |

my house also like that.
trust me, that is more convenient. after you lock your grill or wooden door, you turn 180 degrees to the back. your hand with the keys are at the right place already. |

QUOTE(WaCKy-Angel @ Sep 5 2024, 04:06 PM) Grill open out to right side so it wont clash with neighbour's grill. I always have issue, when open main door, it will be jammed while waiting another person open the grill. So dont know which is the best Wooden door open up to left side so it will be align with the wall, otherwise if open to right side it would look weird unless there is a wall behind. |
