Question: Has anyone tried to waive the RM25 SST charge on their corporate credit card? If personal/own/individual credit card, I know it's on a bank by bank, case to case basis, so I'm just wondering.

(FWIW, I already tried keyword search function to see if the question ever came up but nothing came out of that, so don't flame me)

I don't think so because it ties to company, since this is a corporate card, your company doesn't reimburse the SST for you? Mine yes as it's given to me for business expenses.

Yeah, figured as much. Oh well, what to do.

Then, what's the purpose to use if it's not reimbursed, might as well use your own personal CC. Should argue with your company to absorb it. tongue.gif

It's ok - memang company paying pun (SI autodebit). Just wondering for the lolz.

I have another CC (HLB) I use for company stuff, but luckily got automatic AF waive without me having to call for it.

Question: Got a new credit card this past August, cancelled another one last month, applied for another credit card this month that got rejected.

If I were to apply for a different credit card from a different bank, should I wait a few months before trying? TIA

What do you mean by this?

Also, depends whether you fall under this:
For cardholders earning RM36,000 per annum and less, cardholders can only hold credit cards from a maximum of two issuers.
*
I was surprised that I even got a third issuer's card this year. My per annum (as of last year) was more than RM36K.

Applying for different bank shouldnt have problem no need waiting time.

U might want to check CTOS and CCRIS to find out why ur application rejected.
Most of the times bank wont reject unless u got blacklist, bad paymaster, or record too clean (never have any loan/CC before).
*
Just got the latest CTOS report; credit score is about 7xx (before that, it was 801), which I thought may or may not have anything to do with the card I cancelled (the one I had the longest)?

Also - not blacklisted, decent paymaster, got joint mortgage with parentals, also got other CCs

If above 36k, then it is not applicable to you. You can have card from more than 2 issuers. Can apply for different cards.
*
Ah okay, maybe it's just the bank then, cos at the end of the day, it's still up to their discretion, kan?

I am already its PB customer, only applying for the 365 CC. This is why information on how to apply, email, fax is not stated at all. I believe it will be updated soon.

add: I just received a call from card center that the above info is outdated and the branch is not aware about it. Mind you, these info was relayed by the branch doh.gif So that criteria is before, but now can apply as normal. What a mess.
*
What's "apply as normal"? With income documents or pledge FD?

Question: If want to pay back SC FlexiPay transaction, is it considered a fund transfer, or just regular CC payment?

Been thinking of cancelling the last Stan Chart and HSBC Amanah cards I got, but the CL I got for both are crazy high (30K and 20K). Otherwise I have no real use for them...

Should I hang on to them, or should I cut them loose and apply for other cards?

I have other cards, but the highest CL I have is like 10K (combined, Affin Duo)..

Btw, want to ask for general reference. When booking hotel using sites like trip.com, agoda, booking.com, there is book now, pay later option.

Would the pay later option still be considered as online transaction for credit card cash rebate or points rewards purposes? Trying to maximise the online benefit for credit cards.
*
As in BNPL, or pay later as in pay at the hotel during check in? If it's the latter, then clearly it can't be online lor

If you're referring to like Visa Instalments payment option like on Agoda, then maybe? Try and see lor
