QUOTE(SzeMeng76 @ Jul 30 2017, 01:15 PM) U mentioned Maybank 2 Cards? It's come with 1 set, because not every place accept Amex, thus u can swipe with ur Visa when Amex can't be use. I dont remember applying for Amex though. Was applying for credit card just in case needed it when going for business trips as it is more convenient than carrying a stack of money with you. Since you said that it comes in a set. Then no worries i suppose. Thank you for your reply. |

QUOTE(adele123 @ Jul 30 2017, 02:50 PM) Not rare but not widely accepted either. But for bigger merchants (departmental, hypermarkets, certain petrol brand, pharmacy), chances are high. QUOTE(fruitie @ Jul 30 2017, 02:56 PM) Refer to this thread contributed by fellow forummers: https://forum.lowyat.net/topic/3532126 Thanks I manage to maximize RM 50 cash back every month. |

Just some questions regarding statement balance.
I have already paid the statement balance but the amount is still shown in the account details section. I always paid the outstanding balance. Am i doing it wrong or something? |

QUOTE(eddievh @ Nov 26 2017, 01:15 PM) I did some digging. As long as the outstanding payment is zero. I do not need to worry about statement balance as i already paid it off so is my understanding is correct? Kinda dumb that the system implemented online ask you to pay the statement balance when i have already fully paid it... |

QUOTE(cybpsych @ Nov 26 2017, 08:12 PM) not dumb. Nah, dumb as in after i paid it still shows an option to pay. (i got shock)statement-ed amount never change. it's fixed. it doesn't TELL you to pay, it's just a statement info for the current cycle USAGE. it's just like postpaid mobile bill. what u truly owe is outstanding amount. it increases or decreases according to spending or payment. benefit of postpaid-monthly billing is you only need to clear each statement amount, latest by due date. any newer spending after current statement date, will be billed in next statement cycle. since u cleared all outstanding amount, then it's fine anyway. it doesn't CHANGE the fact of your statement amount, right? what were spent is documented in the statement. Then again i should have studied up. My fault also. But thanks for your reply as it is clear now. I thought they didnt record my payment. Cheers. |
