Exactly the same thing happened to me. Last year I had applied CIMB housing loan, but ended up accept another bank offer. A few months later, I received two credit cards from CIMB.

1) CIMB Cash Rebate Platinum Credit Card
2) CIMB Tesco Platinum Credit Card

I was surprised and called the CIMB housing loan staff immediately. He claimed that nowadays bank will bundle credit card application together with housing loan application, which I believe is bullshit and it can be opt out. The problem is he did not mention anything about credit card in the beginning. 

Does anybody know for Agoda, which currency should I choose to minimize the higher exchange rate? Or I just follow my destination? For e.g., if I choose a hotel in MY, then I choose RM, if in Japan, then choose Yen?

Hi, is it possible to upgrade existing maybank gold to a platinum card as my credit limit is almost the same as my income now and I want more benefits from a better card. I still have installments bound to the existing card tho. how should i proceed in this case?

Am i only allowed a limit increase on the existing card in this case?

Can we call to bank to temporary block the credit card for transaction, similar to the freeze card under bigpay.

Edit: for "safety" purpose rather than fraud transaction that has taken place

Just wondering if let say my cc limit is 3k and then every month i use up all but when the bill out i will pay full and use it again like maube 60% of the CL and pay it full again. Am i a bad paymaster? Or would it impact to my credit score?

I received a salary bump recently which exceeds RM60k p/a and qualifies me for Maybank 2 Platinum. Can I apply for the card straightaway with just one pay slip with the eligible income and the other 2 slips with less than RM60k p/a?

Just additional info, I hold PBB Quantum (no late payments before) and got rejected for Citi clear card early this year.
